series.
The Hino Hybrid not only runs leaner, it offers
ideal power and torque with a six speed
transmission and 4.0-litre turbocharged diesel
engine rated at 100kw that runs in parallel with
a purpose-designed electric motor which provides
an additional 36kw of power.

The Hino 500
series.
The Hino 500 is powered by two families of ADR
80/02 compliant, diesel engines with four power
ratings for the ‘J’ series of 129 kW, 152 kW,
168, kW & 190 kW and for the all new A09C
series, two power ratings of 221 kW and 235 kW.
Both engines feature common-rail fuel injection,
variable nozzle turbo charging and cooled EGR
for exceptional drivability, engine response,
reduced emissions and improved fuel economy.
Models Range from 10,400kg to 26,000kg GVM, Hino
500 provides 52 model variants to fill almost
every application in the medium-duty market. The
Hino 500 has more power and torque as well as
reduced emissions, outstanding braking
performance and increased external visibility.
Hino 500 brings the company’s medium-duty
offering into line with the latest technology
used throughout the rest of the Hino line-up –
such as EGR, commonrail injection and a variable
nozzle turbocharger.
The HIno 700
series.
Hino employs state-of-the-art diesel technology
to optimise power, torque and fuel efficiency
while minimising emissions. All Hino 700 Series
engines have four valves per cylinder and
variable nozzle turbocharging.
Hino offers a range of strong, reliable
gearboxes tailored to the intended applications
for its trucks. The heavy-duty 700 Series
line-up features overdrive Eaton RTLO
transmissions.
Cruise control is a combined safety and
convenience feature that helps reduce the chance
of driver fatigue in motorway running and can
also be used to ensure speed limit compliance
through built-up areas.
Driver Comfort improves concentration, safety
